ABSTRACT: This research explores the influence of early childhood education on reducing discrimination among young children. Objectives include evaluating children's understanding of discrimination, identifying effective educational practices, and assessing the long-term benefits of early anti-discrimination education. A survey design was chosen for its efficiency in gathering detailed data. Purposive sampling was used to select 200 children from preschools in Kano State, Nigeria. Findings indicated that children exposed to anti-discrimination education demonstrated greater awareness and reduced discriminatory behaviors. Effective practices included role-playing scenarios that challenge stereotypes, discussions on diversity, and inclusive classroom activities. The study recommended integrating anti-discrimination education into early childhood curricula to promote inclusivity and respect for diversity from an early age.
